 Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub, an American comedian and actress is often referred to as Milana Aleksandrovna Vayntrub. She was born in the Soviet Union to Jewish immigrants and began her career after her move from Israel to the United States as a child actress. In AT&T television commercials she played the role of Lily Adams (saleswoman) from 2013 through 2016 and until 2020. The commercials she appeared in were not the only thing she did. She also appeared on the Yahoo! Screen science-fiction comedy Other Space (2015). She also starred in a recurring role as a character on the NBC drama This Is Us (2016)-2017. Vayntrub has also been voiced as Squirrel Girl on the Marvel Rising franchise since 2018 after she was selected to play Squirrel Girl in the unaired television pilot of New Warriors. Vayntrub was Jewish born in Tashkent in the Uzbek Soviet Socialist Republic. Her parents and she were exiled from antisemitism as young as two years old. They emigrated to the U.S. with their children. Her family's financial difficulties caused her to be a part of Mattel Barbie commercials from the age of five. Vayntrub briefly attended Beverly Hills High School, however, she quit following her sophomore year. She earned a GED and went on to earn the Bachelor of Arts in Communication from the University of California, San Diego. She was introduced to improv comedy through the Upright Citizens Brigade.
